Mid year for 2003 there was a part change by BMW. I am not sure the exact cutoff date for the new part, but I have read it is somewhere in March or perhaps May. The BMW part # is 1-928-404-683 which corresponds to the Bosch 17216 or 17216, depending on which position you are searching for. The Bosch website confirms this, as the 2004 325i part # lookup is for the newer part, and thus the correct one for the later 2003 325i. The easiest way to tell is to look at your current part number and cross reference.
