The OEM tail lights on our daughers 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee faded, cracked and were summarily taped together for a couple of years before I finally broke down and replaced them. I was originally going to go with the OEM style tail lights - being only about $20 ea aftermarket, but then I stumbled upon these replacement lenses and decided I'd give my daughters ride a little more style. As it turns out, these tail lights are more than just cool looking. Their design is such that it means brighter and more focused light comes out of the standard automotive bulbs that were in the original OEM light, providing a much cleaner and clearer solution for tail/stop/turn signals. The backup lights are also *way* brighter and you might think you had some headlights strapped to the back of your ride after putting these babies on!

Fit and finish are spot on with the original OEM lights, making changing these out a 5 minute affair with no 'fudging' required. Bolt 'em on and go.

In short, these not only add style to your ride, but double or triple the effectiveness of the lights by focusing them into smaller areas (vs the OEM which spread the light over the entire surface of the lens). All in all, very pleased that I spent the extra money on these vs. the aftermarket replacements.
