This is a well designed and decent quality cot. Its not ultra light or compact but considering what it is- a large strong cot- its not overly bulky or heavy. The design makes it easy to setup. It takes a bit of tension to get the end pieces on but nothing a 12 yr old girl couldn't do with the right technique. Once setup, the frame puts the right amount of tension on the fabric. Fits my 6'3" 235# without touching end bars. This cot does not rock from end to end or side to side and is plenty sturdy enough for your avg linebacker size guy. The fabric is strong but does stretch a little which only makes it more comfortable
