Great looking grill.. a bit of a pain to install, but is so much nicer than one of those simple horizontal types. The unit is really a surprise once installed. Comes in a 4 inch wide box, and is not quite flat. but will fit great around the GMC letters and once attached to the truck is a beauty to behold. Takes about an hour.. use a 3/8" deepwell socket is best. Don't over tighten.

Arrived on time, and no problems. The directions are a bit off, as they could be more clear. Taking the top off the inside radiator cover is easy enough and a must. Use the small clips on top, and larger ones on bottom. First you must remove the little bit of putty covering the stud holes, and install the studs. Install the clips first and then insert them all at once into the grill area. I covered the chrome cross bars in my grill. and like the look of them shinning through. I had the horizontal bars first and did not like them near as much. Put them on my work truck.

Edit..I liked the look so much that i put the same grill on my work truck that we got such a great deal on this year. $11,000 below list. Not happy with the small brackets, so will make a small change on the second grill. i bought. I will just use some hooks that i got at the hardware store. I put a couple of plastic tie straps on the top.. but the hooks will be better.
