Ok,the reason for the good rating followed by a harsh title is that I have no complaints about this paticular product. I purchased this AFE silver bullet throttle body spacer with an AFE stage 2 CAI. Not mentioned by AFE, the fuse panel bracket on the this vehicle is in the way of the intake tube. And on my vehicle it started to wear a hole in it after only two weeks. I have since removed the intake, and am ordering the stage 1 that uses the same airbox adapter as the stage 2 but connects to the stock intake tube which clears perfectly. Just an FYI because I figure some of you may want both like I do. The throttle body spacer was everything promised on the box. A slight whistle is audible at wide open throttle but that is to be expected. Fuel economy improved slightly, but I'm running 35" tires so I suspect fuel saving would be better with stock tires. Still getting 15 mpg nonetheless, with 35" tires and 373 gears, not to mention I drive like a bat out of hell. Installation would be simple for anyone with a modest background working on cars. I was a little bit leery at first about removing the throttle body on my brand new truck but it caused no ill effects and wasn't difficult to get to either. Overall a good product, easy to install, machined from a solid piece of aluminum. Installer error is the only way you can harm your vehicle with it.
