Shoulder and elbow pieces of armor are made of injection-molded plastic/hard padded with foam for comfort fit. Back piece is made of double density EVA. I purchased the jacket based on the sizing information provided and it fits perfect. I have broad shoulders and big arms for a female and the jacket still fits comfortably. The leather is white just like the photo, not creme. It comes with an interior liner and the armor all protective and well worth the cost. The sleeves near the wrist have zippers to increase size on the forearem, with velcro adjustment straps. The breast zippers are vents and another vent on the backside increases airflow in hot weather. The zippered pockets in the front are very has plenty of room for keys, cell phone and mp3. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan on getting another jacket with different colors.
