With motorcycle helmet prices ranging from $50 to $600 it's hard to tell what is a good helmet. I have multiple motorcycle helmets mostly for riding in different conditions on the different motorcycles I own. I wanted an open face helmet that had the drop-down internal shad visor. I also wanted a visor/brim that extended over the edge of the helmet to help with low Sun in your face in the morning or the evening. Nothing worse than driving into the Sun. I'm a big HJC helmet fan so I looked at the IS-33 and thought it would be perfect. Turns out that HJC made this model too small. The 2X fit like a Medium and felt a vise crushing my head, and HJC chose not to make anything larger than a 2X. I kept searching for a helmet that I was looking for and found this Cyber Helmet and the Bell MAG-9 SENA. They both look very similar but the Cyber was $50 and Bell was $179. The fit for both was a bout the same though the Bell had a little more smoother feel. Though the Bell felt smoother it wasn't smooth enough to pay an additional $130, so I bought the Cyber. The more I wear the Cyber helmet the better I like it. The feel is good and it is light so it's easy on the neck on a long day's ride. It has reflectors on both sides and the back for night time visibility. It has great ventilation on warm days. I like the shroud on top of the helmet that protects the clear visor but also looks cool. I added tinting to the bottom edge of the clear visor so it gives me more of the visor/brim that I was looking for riding into the low Sun. I have more expensive helmets but this helmet is equal to any of them and the price is awesome for what you get.
