I've been running on these for about 6 months or so and haven't had any trouble with them. 2001 Eclipse, not lowered. They are adjustable, tho at first glance you can't tell. On the top of the shaft there is a small screw that you need to turn with the included screw driver. I have mine set on 3, which is 150% firmer than stock and it's pretty solid. I may take it back to a setting of 2. For your reference, please check out the below settings. They seem to be pretty accurate:

1 - Stock
2 - 115%
3 - 150%
4 - 200%
