EVS R4 Neck Support - Adult/White Review

I just got my new EVS R4 from the store and have to say that straight out of the box its a good looking piece of equipment. Once you put it on you get the sense that if need be it will save your neck from hyper-extension. The velcro is super strong and even if the front clip ever breaks for some reason the velcro is more than enough to keep the piece together in a crash. I'm not sold on the plastic front clip but unless it fails I'm not gonna find fault with it just yet. The one draw back for me is it doesnt have any hardpoint attachments for a chest protector. For the price I think that it is the best introduction model to neck protection and better than nothing.

3-5-2012 First ride with the EVS R4 and I have to say Im pleasntly impressed. The big thing for me is that I didnt notice I was wearing it. I didnt lose any movement in my neck or smack against my helmet. The velcro attachments are very secure so for now they work. If your looking for a trail-riding neck brace this is the one.
