I can't believe Wolf didn't give Amazon any promo pictures to use for this product. And I can't believe I took time to take some and add them. But I like this console and think it deserves better promotion. I bought it blind; now you get to see it.I'm using this console in a 97 Chevy Astro (95-05 same). It does not mount or bolt in. It simply stays in place by gravity & friction, and fits this van well. The underside is covered in a carpet-like material that keeps it in place very well. It is a substantial size and weight. There are no problems at all with it sliding around, even when empty. As a bonus, the lid locks.
It solved one major issue for me: the stock Astro cupholders are too shallow. If you've ever dumped a full beverage on your floor because you pulled out a little too fast and forgot to hold on to the cup, then you'll love this console. The cupholders are deep enough; I can ignore my drink and focus on driving. In fact, this is the primary reason I bought it.
As an unexpected, unadvertised bonus, it has coin holding wells in it. That always bugged me that GM didn't provide them.
It doesn't seem that expensive to me considering the value. It is well made and feature packed. I couldn't make one nearly as nice for a hundred bucks.
In summary:
Pros: You'll never spill a drink again.
Well made.
High utility.
Stays put.
Cons: In the Astro, it's a little tighter now
getting buckled up, but I can live with that.
