I bought this early this year and to this day I still love the way it feels on my 2013 WRX. The installation is pretty straightforward, and you can find videos on Youtube that show you exactly how to do it. The only thing you might have difficulty with is pulling off the shifter boot and other plastic parts before you get to the shifter area itself, especially if it's the first time you're looking in there. Be forceful, but not too forceful so you don't break the tabs.

Some tips:
- You will also need circlip pliers in order to remove the ring around the stock shifter and then put it back on the kartboy.
- Use white lithium grease liberally on the recommended areas.
- If you assemble it and hear a squeaking sound with every shift, this is because the rubber is now touching the metal rod that the shifter is attached to. This is normal, and because the short throw shifter is lower than the stock (to be expected). Apply some lithium grease to where they touch and the sound will go away.
