GlowShift's Tinted 7 Color Series 2400 Degree Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge is essential for any gas powered vehicle that has a stock or aftermarket turbo or supercharger, and allows you to closely monitor your engine temperature making sure it is not running to hot which result in catastrophic engine failure. This exhaust temperature gauge reads from 0 to 2400 degrees Fahrenheit and includes a type K thermocouple that features 6 feet of steel braided cable and 1/8th NPT threads, allowing you to install the probe directly into your exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe.

The instructions that came with it was only good for wiring the gauge ,so i went to some forums on the internet to learn how to install the probe. i found out the best place is the driver side manifold the drilling and tapping is easier than i thought. The wiring took longer than the drilling and tapping part. The probe came with about maybe almost 10 ft of wire with heat shrink already on it that made it nice. i have a trans temp gauge for about a year and it still works but i just now found out how to change the color. Since i didnt hook up the yellow wire correctly the gauge only came on dim red.
