I am a avid ultra distance road cyclist/ Racer, and chose this vehicle as the next trip /bike hauler. I have yakima racks and a carrier on the roof and a double down 4 bike carrier on the back now due to this hitch. The install was very easy and this is the best hitch made for the XB from all of the prior reviews. Now I can cary six bikes and also a tandem and cargo carrier. Great race support vehicle that gets close to 30 mpg.! Im not too sure if i will ever haul a trailor of any type but i have the hitch if needed.

Lexus RX300 Chrome Without Hid Headlights Headlamps Driver/Passenger Pair New Review

Bought these as a Christmas gift for my wife...she asked for them...I'm not an idiot!

One of the units was damaged but the company promptly sent a replacement. They were cordial and easy to reach.

My only complaint was the lack of installation directions. I suppose the argument could be made that the body shop guys who install these have all the shop manuals already but we are talking about Amazon!

I found several do it yourself videos on Youtube.

Tools needed: 10mm socked wrench with 3" extension; #2 phillips screwdriver.

Instructions:
Removing old lamp
1. Loosen two 10mm cap screws on top of the lamp.
2. Remove the plastic grill cover that spans between the two lamps (eight #2 phillips screws I think)
2. Remove wheel.
3. Remove front half of the fender liner (five 10mm cam screws and three #2 phillips head screws). Peel back the liner and tuck it behind the wheel hub.
4. With the 10mm socket wrench and 3" extension, remove two nuts from the mounting posts at the rear of the lamp.
5. Slide the lamp out. This will take finding the right angle. Don't get frustrated and force it...it will come out easily if you tilt it just right.
6. Once the old lamp is out you'll need to remove the old trim piece, it is held in place with a small phillips screw around the outside face. remove the screw and gently peel the trim piece off the front of the lamp. Take care not to bend the tab at the other end as this is a painted piece and the paint will crack...trust me.
Installing shiny new lamp
1. Remove protective film from lamp face...don't place the lamp face down from here on.
2. Remove tab from 2-sided tape on trim piece area and carefully position the trim piece. do not let it touch the tape yet. First attach the hard point (slot and screw) then snap it in place. Make sue to guide it in place squarely over the tab.
From here out just reverse the install steps. Note the fender liner needs to be tucked in a few places so take you time there, you don't want to have to replace the clips that attach the plastic panels...although they are also available on Amazon.
