Magellan RoadMate 1445T 4.3-Inch Widescreen GPS Navigator with Traffic Link Receiver Review

I recently purchased one of these units and this past weekend tried it out on a trip from the Pomona, CA area to Fresno, CA and back. All the features worked perfectly. I was really impressed with the "lane assist" feature. It not only alerted me of the proper lane to be in in the LA area, but also in Fresno. Although the integrated "traffic alert" didn't advise me of any traffic issues, (there weren't any on this trip) I did see the "advertisement" displayed on the screen. It is so small and well positioned, it is not a problem at all.

All in all, I think this is a fantastic GPS with a lot of great features for the money.

I also have a Garmin Nuvi 260W that works great also, for a few more dollars, you get a lot more features with the Magellan 1445T.

Crimestopper INT-BMW.2 Slot Key Ignition Interface Kit Review

Installers told me that this would not work on my BMW 328i COUPE 2010 because of the fiber optic cables in the car. No one would install this with the evo-can immobilizer bypass key and door lock module. I found an installer who was willing to take the risk to install this in my BMW knowing that it may or may not mess up my electrical system I took the risk and had this installed with the evo-can(Fortin). It did not work when first installed, so I purchased the flash loader unit that updates the Evo-can to the current software. After the update installation was successful and the alarm worked perfect! The alarm that I bought was the 5904 VIPER Alarm. It works flawless, I am satisfied that this was able to work for my BMW. Hopefully this review will give you some ease if you are installing on a car that has fiber optic cables.

Put them on in May of this year 2010.
Looked awesome and got tons of compliments.
6 months later and ALL the seams are ripped out on on front of both drivers and passengers seatcovers.
They have never been wet, and semi-shielded from the sun during summer with a mesh safari top.
I'm a light guy too, 150lbs, my GF is 105lbs.
The thread they use to sew these things together is crap. Didn't even last one season

FCS 1331591R Complete Strut Assembly Review

I ordered both the front right and left FCS Auto Complete Strut Assemblies for my '01 Infiniti I30t. They were installed without any problems and improved the ride quality. I was a little skeptical about ordering these because I had never heard of FCS, but so far they seem to be working fine. The only complaint I have is that part of the reason I ordered these is they way they look in the picture on Amazon. I liked the gloss black finish on the strut and the red FCS decal. Let me just say the picture is misleading. The struts I got had a flat black finish with no decal. Not really a big deal because you can`t see them when they`re on the car anyway and the appearance does not affect the performance. Just figured I`d let potential customers be aware of that fact.

Blantex XB-6 Extra Wide Heavy Duty Steel Folding Cot Review

I bought this cot mainly to provide an extra bed so when I toss and turn with insomnia I won't keep my bed partner awake, too. It also provides an extra bed for guests from time to time. I've slept on it nearly a dozen times and I've had one guest use it so far. The cot earned four stars because it has a few minor negatives and a bunch or positives.

The cot is a great deal. The price is reasonable and the cot so sturdy I expect it will provide many years of trouble free use. The mattress pad stores on the underside of the cot, so when you set it up you have to pull it out from under the cot and put it on top. This can be pretty annoying, especially if this is the fourth night in a row I've set up the thing. Despite this I easily set the cot up in under a minute, so really no big deal. I expect to find that since the mattress is folded inside the cot when you fold the cot in half for storage, the mattress will last longer because it is protected from catching on stuff when you move it. When I sleep on this cot I have plenty of room to roll over and get comfortable. It feels sturdy under me (as it should since it holds up to 400 pounds) and I don't worry that it will fold up or collapse under me. When I move around during the night it is fairly quiet, about on par with my regular bed. Even though I use this mainly as an extra bed when I have insomnia, I have fallen asleep on it every time I've used it. It is indeed comfortable. Sometimes the mattress pad seems a bit thin to me, but only after sleeping on it for a few nights in a row, so I'll probably buy a foam mattress topper or something to put on top of it eventually. The guest who slept on it for two nights said it was comfortable and quiet. Although a twin sheet doesn't fit right, it is easy to fold the excess sheet under the mattress pad so it mostly stays put during the night. Occasionally a spring comes unhooked from the frame when I haul around the folded up cot, but it is easy (and requires little strength) to just hook it back on. I store the cot in my basement and have to carry it upstairs if I want to set it up in my dining room (where I usually use it). It is light so it is not hard to lift, but is still kind of big folded up, so I sometimes have to reposition my hold on it to get it upstairs.

Overall, a nice cot for the price. I would be very surprised if a better one could be found in this price range.
